Fatty Liver Disease
Fatty liver disease is a condition in which fat deposited in your liver.
There are two main types of fatty liver disease ;

NAFLD is a type of fatty liver disease which is not related to heavy alcohol use. NAFLD affects about 25 percent of people in the world.

What makes your Liver becomes “Fatty”?
These few factors below contribute to the damage on to your liver.
Excessive consumption of High GI foods and Unhealthy Fats.
Example of food which contains unhealthy fats ; processed food, fast food, fried food and oily food.
People who are on long term use of some medications.
For example, antibiotics, antifungal medications, and etc.
Individuals who are exposed to Hepatitis Viruses. For example, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Hepatits C.
Individuals who are heavy alcohol use. Especially those who have been drinking for a long period of time.
What happens if you do not take care of Fatty Liver Disease?
If left untreated, death of liver cells increase and being replaced by scar tissue. Eventually, permanently impairs liver function. This may eventually lead to liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.
This is the late stage of scarring of the liver. As cirrhosis progresses, more and more scar tissue forms, making it difficult for the liver to function.
Progressive and irreversible condition of scar tissue formation in your liver from cirrhosis may eventually end up with liver cancer.
